Leah Remini

 Leah Remini is an American actor, writer, and activist who has her net worth at $25 million. Her most well-known character is that of Carrie Heffernan in CBS' sitcom "The King of Queens." In 2016 until 2019 Leah Remini hosted and produced the Emmy-winning show on A&E "Leah Remini: Scientology and The Aftermath." The roles she played include "Kevin Can't wait", "Saved by the Bell", and "Old School." "Leah Remini" was born Leah Marie Remini on June 15, 1970, in Brooklyn, New York. Vicki Remini, her mother as was George Remini, her father owned the asbestos-removing company. She grew up with sister Nicole and half-sisters Stephanie, Shannon, Elizabeth Shannon, and Christine. In 2013, Stephanie died from cancer. Remini was born Catholic but was soon attracted to a Scientology member through her mother, when she was just 9. Vicki, Leah and Nicole relocated from Catholicism to Clearwater in Florida to be with Scientology. The trio then relocated into Los Angeles for Leah's 13th birthday. Remini dropped out of school at the age of 14 and focused on acting.Leah also co-hosted "The Talk" from 2010 to 2011, and she took part in "Dancing with the Stars" 2013 and came with a fifth-place finish.
